How NAD+ math works

Divide the amount in the vial by the water to find the strength. When you add 5 mL of water to a 500 mg vial, each mL contains 100 mg. Divide your dose by the strength to find mL, then multiply that amount by 100 to calculate units on a U-100 syringe.

From that vial, a 2 mg dose measures 0.02 mL, or 2 units.

A quick look at NAD+ units

For that vial and water amount, the cell identifies the U-100 syringe line to draw to.

Does NAD+ have FDA-approved status?

It isn't FDA-approved for any use in people; it's sold as a research chemical. There is no FDA label, so no official dose is available. We only convert a dose you already have.

Questions people often ask

What amount of water goes into a 500 mg NAD+ vial?

You choose the water amount, which only changes the strength of each mL. Using 5 mL gives you 100 mg per mL. More water reduces the amount in each unit, so you can measure smaller doses more easily.

How many units does 1 mg of NAD+ equal?

The answer depends on how strong your mix is. When the strength is 100 mg/mL, 1 mg equals 1 unit. Use the calculator and enter your vial and water amounts to find your number.

How long does mixed NAD+ last?

Follow the storage instructions on your product or prescription. Per CDC guidance, use bacteriostatic water within 28 days after the first needle.
