How to read the tirzepatide dosing chart in units
Choose the column for your vial and added water, such as 10 mg with 2 mL. Then move down to your dose. That cell shows how many units to draw with a U-100 insulin syringe. For any water amount that isn’t listed, the calculator will work it out.

Tirzepatide monthly dosing from the label
Every dose step in these tables traces back to the FDA label (Zepbound label on DailyMed, Mounjaro label on DailyMed); for compounded or research vials, each step is shown in units. Which step you take is up to your prescriber.

Questions people often ask
How many units equal 2.5 mg of tirzepatide?
Your vial is what determines it. When the concentration is 10 mg/mL, 2.5 mg measures 25 units. You get that concentration with a 20 mg vial plus 2 mL or a 30 mg vial plus 3 mL. At 5 mg/mL, the same dose measures 50 units.
