Sermorelin math explained

You find the strength by dividing the amount in the vial by the water. When you add 2 mL of water to a 5 mg vial, each mL contains 2.5 mg. Divide your dose by the strength to find mL; then multiply by 100 to find units on a U-100 syringe.

From that vial, a dose of 50 mcg measures 0.02 mL, or 2 units.

So, is Sermorelin FDA-approved?

There's no FDA-approved use in people; it is sold as a research chemical. There is no FDA label, so no official dose exists. All we do is convert a dose you already have.

Frequently asked questions

For a 5 mg Sermorelin vial, how much water do I add?

You choose the water amount; it only affects how strong each mL is. Adding 2 mL gives you 2.5 mg per mL; more water means each unit holds less, so small doses are easier to measure.

How many units are in 1 mg of Sermorelin?

The answer depends on how strong your mix is. At 2.5 mg/mL, 1 mg measures 40 units. Use the calculator with your vial and water details to find your number.

How long does mixed Sermorelin stay usable?

Follow the storage instructions on your product or prescription. Per CDC guidance, you should use bacteriostatic water itself within 28 days after the first needle.
