How to reconstitute BPC-157
A step-by-step guide to mixing BPC-157 with bacteriostatic water, followed by the unit amount in each dose once mixed.
- Available vial sizes
- 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg
- Water for 5 mg yields 2.5 mg/mL
- 2 mL
- Bac water once opened
- 28 days

Mixing BPC-157, one step at a time
- Use an alcohol swab to clean the peptide vial, the bacteriostatic water and both rubber stoppers; wash your hands beforehand.
- Pull the amount of water you chose into the syringe. With 2 mL in a 5 mg vial, you get 2.5 mg per mL.
- At a slight angle, slide the needle through the stopper and let the water run slowly downward along the inner wall of the vial.
- Gently roll the vial between your hands until no powder remains. Don't shake it.
- Mark the vial with the mix date, then store it as your product or prescription directs.
- Calculate the units for your dose before drawing to that line.
How to reconstitute a 5 mg vial
Adding 2 mL of water to a 5 mg vial gives 2.5 mg per mL. After mixing, 250 mcg equals 10 units, while 1 mg equals 40 units. If you use 1 mL, each mL contains 5 mg, so the same 250 mcg comes to 5 units.

| Vial | Water added | Strength | Units for a sample dose |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 1 mL | 5 mg/mL | 5 units for 250 mcg |

| 5 mg | 3 mL | 1.667 mg/mL | 15 units for 250 mcg |
| 10 mg | 1 mL | 10 mg/mL | 2.5 units for 250 mcg |
| 10 mg | 2 mL | 5 mg/mL | 5 units for 250 mcg |
| 10 mg | 3 mL | 3.333 mg/mL | 7.5 units for 250 mcg |
| 15 mg | 1 mL | 15 mg/mL | 6.7 units for 1 mg |
| 15 mg | 2 mL | 7.5 mg/mL | 3.3 units for 250 mcg |
| 15 mg | 3 mL | 5 mg/mL | 5 units for 250 mcg |

What appears on the label
It isn't FDA-approved for any use in people and is sold as a research chemical. Since there is no FDA label, official mixing instructions do not exist; follow what came with the product.
Questions people often ask
What amount of bacteriostatic water does 5 mg of BPC-157 need?
No one amount is right for all cases. With 2 mL, you get 2.5 mg per mL; adding more water weakens each unit, so small doses are easier to draw.
Can sterile water be used to mix BPC-157?
Sterile water contains no preservative and is meant for one use. A vial that you draw from over several days is usually mixed with bacteriostatic water. See sterile and bacteriostatic water compared.
